OUR STORY:

sola (سولہ): noun | The Urdu number sixteen.

I'll be honest, I'm a lazy cook... but my mother's 16-spice blend does all the heavy lifting for me.

My mother, Fatema Nuruddin, spent two decades running a successful wedding and custom cake shop. When she accidentally launched a viral cooking platform during the pandemic, her only intention was to share her treasured recipes with my sister and me.

Now, with over 800,000 people across the world following along, she wanted to create a spice blend that made Pakistani flavor more accessible for anyone looking to spice up their meals.

From our kitchen to yours,

Ok. I never thought I'd get this excited about a bottle of spice, BUT...The Sola Story proved me wrong! A couple of dashes on my scrambled eggs and it was truly the most spectacular, enlivening flavor. I'm recommending (and buying it!) for everyone! I love its story, too!

My main priority was wanting to cook South Asian flavored things without buying like 10 different ingredients, and just garam masala was a bit too plain!

At first I thought it is only for regular staple Asian dishes, then I tried it on vegetables, cooked and raw like cucumbers etc. I loved it, there was a zing that my pallete liked it.
I am using it more often.
